Mount your JEA switch panel or module in the existing switch box. No rewiring needed for retrofit models.

Install the JEA Smart Home app from Google Play or Apple App Store. Available for Android 8.0+ and iOS 13+.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to rewire my home to install JEA switches?

No rewiring is required for our Retrofit Module range. They fit directly into your existing switch boxes behind the current switch plates. For our Switch Panel range (Lite, Harmony, Signature), standard 2-pin wiring is sufficient — no additional wiring needed.
Which voice assistants are compatible with JEA products?

Our Harmony and Signature series are fully compatible with Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple Siri (HomeKit). You can control individual devices, create voice-activated scenes, and integrate with other smart home platforms.
What happens if the WiFi goes down? Will my switches still work?

Yes. All JEA switches function as normal manual touch switches even without WiFi or internet. The smart features (app control, voice, schedules) require connectivity, but the physical switch always works independently — ensuring zero-disruption to your electrical system.
Is there a monthly subscription fee for the JEA app?

No. The JEA Smart Home app is completely free — forever. There are no monthly or annual fees. All app features including remote control, automation, scheduling, and firmware updates are included at no extra cost with your device purchase.
What is the warranty on JEA products?

All JEA products come with a standard 1-year manufacturer warranty covering manufacturing defects. Extended warranty plans (2-year and 3-year) are available for purchase. Warranty claims can be raised via our support team or by visiting our Coimbatore or Tirupur offices.
Can I control my JEA devices when I'm away from home?

Absolutely. The JEA Smart Home app provides full remote control from anywhere in the world — as long as your home WiFi is connected. Turn on AC before arriving home, check if lights were left on, or set evening automations from your office.
